Official rules:
The EPHY will be awarded to the Homebrewer with the most cumulative points from the four following competitions:
War of the Worts
Buzz-off
Malt Madness
Stoney Creek Homebrewers Amateur Brewing Championship.
Number of entries is unlimited but only the top four results for each individual will be used from each competition:
1st place - 5 points
2nd place – 3 points
3rd place – 1 point
BOS will be added to the total as a bonus:
BOS- 5 points
2nd BOS – 3 points
3rd BOS – 1 point
Ties will be decided by more BOS awards or if that is not a factor then more 1st places, then more 2nd places, then 3rds. If all that is equal we will name co-champions.
For example, If no BOS:
9 firsts, 2 seconds, 3 thirds = 58 total
would beat
8 firsts, 5 seconds, 3 thirds = 58 total
Additional notes:
The same beer can be entered in as many competitions as you wish. Contest is open to individuals living in or out of Pennsylvania.
